That's a start.

Man accused of slapping, kicking wife's child.

Then, Valles allegedly slapped the girl twice, threw her to the ground and kicked her in the stomach. The woman interfered, and Valles is accused of punching the woman, threatening her with a pocket knife and cutting her forearm shortly afterward.
Police said the woman took the toddler to a neighbor's house, where she called 911. Officers detained Valles, who was hiding behind a neighbor's car, without incident. The woman and child were treated at the scene, police said.

It's so good to see a woman not stand by and let her kid be abused.  Let's pray she's not dumb enough to give him any more chances (and that CPS makes sure she knows the choice is him or the kid).

Gotta say, though, that if Erik did anything like that (not that he would; he's amazingly gentle), they'd still be collecting pieces.

You said a mouthful! That guy needs to be slapped, thrown down, and kicked by someone 5 or 6 times HIS size! That would be a good start...

Valles was hiding behind a neighbor's car when the police came. Cowards hit those weaker than they and of course hide when those with more power show up!

I've always felt it would be just punishment for people who throw children around or shake them, if they were put into equipment that did the same with them; the force of which would be calibrated to an adult receiving what a child had.

If I had done anything like that, Mrs. Borepatch would have buried the pieces where nobody would have found them.

I'da had it comming, too.
