I decided to take that joke a step further. Rather than add "in bed" to the fortunes we got at lunch today, I'm going to replace one word in each fortune with the word balls.
Why balls? Because when I ran them through my head using bed as the replacement word, they did not tickle my inner twelve-year-old's funny bone. There's no joke like the dirty joke.
Balls may be appropriate at this time.
Courtesy is one habit that never balls out of style.
OK, well, maybe they don't all work out. Onward and upward!
Develop an appreciation for the present balls.
And then, sometimes they work out perfectly.
Our perception and attitude toward any balls will determine the outcome.
Really, it will work damn near anywhere on this one. Check it out:
Our balls and attitude toward any situation will determine the outcome.
Our perception and attitude toward any situation will determine the balls.
Our perception and attitude toward any situation will ball the outcome.
Tee-hee.

I have an old fortune sitting on my desk that says, "Lucky you. Get out your party clothes."
I keep it around because every time I see it my mind edits in the word 'of.' And I giggle like a 12 year old in my head.
