It is taking every ounce of my willpower

to not turn this into an all-Marie, all-the-time blog.  I am still quite lost in that milky new baby haze.  (No, not sleep deprivation.  She's a good sleeper.  She'll even sleep on my chest.)

My GPA took a hit this semester, courtesy of Intro to Humanities, which I was never able to get back on track with, but I still have something like a 3.64 over-all, and none of my classes this coming term should call for field trips!  I still might swap out Intro to Logic for something else.  Intro to Philosophy is tempting, but I feat it would be largely a retread of my Ethics course.  I'm already taking two Lit courses--American Lit II & the Bible as Literature, so adding in a third would be a bit much even for me.  (The fourth course is Psychology of Personality.)  I might go back to Consumer Nutrition.  I need to take a Bio course and a Speech course, but can't go to campus for them right now.

I need to get back to the gym (sounds pretty extravagant, but I have a membership under my mom, & it's $14/mo), but realistically that will probably need to wait til after the New Year's Resolution folks clear out.

I'm working on another post that might actually be interesting, but I'm having some difficulty expressing myself clearly, so it'll be another day or two probably.

In the meantime, I've added two new guys to my blogroll: Tales from a Graveyard Dog is another cop blog.  These guys have the cleverest blog names (witness: Beat and Release; If You Got Stopped, You Deserved It; Press Hard, Three Copies).  He doesn't update much more often than I do, though.

The other new-to-me blog is Dum Vivimus, Vivamus.  I actually don't do the reciprocal blogroll thing (which is why I never e-mail the guys who do when I blogroll 'em, I don't think it's fair to expect them to do it when I don't).  Typically, I will bookmark someone and read them a little while before adding them.  If I don't read them on a regular basis (or pathetically check their blog for new updates, in some cases), they're not on my blogroll.  I spent a little time pawing around Greg's archives after he commented a couple of posts back, and he's good enough that I added him there and then.  Not something I often do.

Of course, now that I think of it, I did that with Mupedalpusher over at Defends Her Own also.  A couple of very intelligent comments here got me to read and link her, and she's definitely another "Why haven't I been reading this?" blog.

So there...You know what's going on with me.  And, just because I cannot get enough of this picture:

Logic, if taught properly, can be a fascinating course, and applicable in many parts of life, not merely in computer programming.

I recently added the same two blogs. Four lovely girls you've got there, but I'd keep an eye on the one farthest to the left. I think she's up to something!
