Condolences

Former E-N columnist found dead.

Carlos Guerra was another columnist whom I vehemently disagreed with on national politics but usually agreed with on local issues.  He was the progenitor of the Lesser San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, of the idea that we should spread "halfway believable lies" in order to preserve the character of our city.  Mind you, that was only a couple of columns, but that's the idea that stuck with me all these years.

I hope his family finds peace.

I don't know how much of his bad writing was the result of poor editors, but it just seemed sloppy.

Hope he enjoyed his retirement.

RIP Mr. Guerra.
