No woman in Nashville gets to sing but Lee Ann Womack. The rest of 'em can never hope to be this good, or this country. (I mean, holy shit, she out-countried Don Williams on "Lord I Hope This Day Is Good.")
Of course, last time I checked she wasn't getting much airplay on mainstream country radio, the reasons for which are self-evident.
(And yes, I realize I am turning into my boyfriend. In my defense, I've actually always been like this. It's why we're together. In fact, he just quoted my comment on this post of his as a reason he became interested in me in the first place. We're crazy in the same way...)
