August Photo Challenge, Week One

I decided at the beginning of the month I wanted to find a photo challenge in which to participate, so I Googled and looked at a few and decided upon this one because the first four were the most interesting to me and because the blogger is in Dallas and because there are seven of us as well.

I'm not on Instagram, though, and have no interest in being.  I'm posting these photos on Facebook daily, but decided to do a weekly wrap-up here too.  I'm trying for some level of balance between milking it for blogfodder and not flooding the blog with things that aren't actual, useful posts.
